The success of the past is obsolete.
And in fact, it was never as good as they sold it.
We bought the illusion, and paid for it with our lives.
We grew up idolizing and celebrating people who excelled in business, sports, and entertainment without realizing that they were suffering in their day to day lives.
Broken families, chronic illness, and addiction dwarfing any semblance of success that was being displayed to the public.
We bought it, hook, line, and sinker.
Our parents, teachers, media, and politicians told us to work hard, get good grades, and we too may have a chance to live like modern day royalty… if we obey.
The system we bought into was fragile, it cracked, and now it’s been exposed.
And the only people who don’t see it are the ones in denial.
But that’s not you. Because you’re still reading.
You’ve at least seen part of the truth and you’re looking for answers.
How deep does the rabbit hole go?
The cracks go deeper than we were told.
What’s failing isn’t just a few systems… it’s the foundation.
The Institutions Are Dead
As Naval Ravikant said,
“Bitcoin is an exit from the Fed.
DeFi is an exit from Wall Street.
Social media is an exit from mass media.
Homeschooling is an exit from industrial education.
Remote work is an exit from 9-5
Creator economy is an exit from employment.
Individuals are leaving institutions.”
Naval’s list isn’t exhaustive. He left out medicine and governance.
I’m not stating this to scare you for the sake of scaring you.
This is the alarm bell ringing.
You still have a chance to save yourself from mediocrity (melancholy).
Everyone is aware of at least one modern institution that’s failed… but still maintaining a facade of “it’s still working”. Likely in the realm of where you have considerable experience.
Whatever you’re aware of, it’s happening in the other institutions as well.
The system didn’t break. It expired.
And the belief systems still holding the institutions in place are obsolete.
But nature abhors a vacuum. When old systems die, new ones are born.
And the people rising to meet the moment aren’t politicians or bureaucrats… they’re builders.
The foundations are gone.
But that’s not the end. It’s the clearing.
Entrepreneurs Will Save/Rule the World
Most people imagine institutions collapsing and can only imagine chaos as the only thing possible. But we’ve been witnessing something else. Entrepreneurs stepping in to fill the gaps with much greater efficiency than the institutions ever did.
Examples:
- Arc Institute → research funding.
- SpaceX → innovation in space.
- Skool → education + community.
- DAOs → decentralized governance.
- Psychedelic medicine startups → new mental health frameworks.
- Substack → economic sovereignty for creators.
The list could go on and on.
This isn’t chaos. It’s creation.
The builders are already here.
You may look at that list and have a complaint about how some of these organizations operate, or dislike a founder. That’s great.
Because in the new paradigm there’s nothing stopping you from becoming a creator that does a better job.
But entrepreneurship isn’t just about startups or technology. It’s a mindset.
You don’t need a venture fund to live this way; you just need to stop waiting for permission.
Future-Proof Your Mind
What makes the entrepreneur so special?
They don’t wait for things to happen. They make them happen.
That’s an important point. Even if you’re a business owner, you may still be one of those looking outside of yourself for some kind of validation or for someone to tell you it’s ok to do what you actually desire to do.
Successful people exhibit a trait we call “sovereignty”.
They experience the world and themselves differently than most.
They have command over their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This makes them “reality shapers” in a world of people who are striving to be “realistic”. Realistic people fit themselves into the box that others have created for them.
Who’s really in charge here?
It’s ok if you’re just now realizing that you’ve been handing your power over to others. You can upgrade at any time.
This is waking up.
And it happens more than once. You’ll wake up over and over again to the truth that you have a new choice where you previously could see none.
Will you have the courage to shape your own reality? One that’s truly new and different.
Or will you continue the patterns you inherited and were assigned?
To live with sovereignty, you first have to see the traps. The invisible scripts that shape your choices. Most written long before you could read them.
We were told:
- Work hard → get good grades → retire happy.
- Sacrifice health and purpose now → buy them back later.
- High income = Wealth
- Health Insurance = security
- Business ownership = risky
The list goes on and on.
These traps are everywhere.
But now you can see them.
And once you see them, you can’t unsee them.
There’s a cost to falling into these traps. Emptiness, anxiety, exhaustion, disconnection, dis-ease, and a lack of purpose.
You’ve been playing by someone else’s rules, and paying the emotional price for it.
But here’s the truth: you can rewrite every one of those rules.
This is where Full Stack begins.
Not as an idea, but as a revolution of mind and body.
The old world was built on obedience.
The new world will be built by those who choose sovereignty.
Next week, we go deeper… into the frameworks, the values, and the practices that turn this philosophy into lived power.
Because this isn’t theory. It’s the blueprint for what comes after collapse.
